Creating e-files involves preparing the returns for submission to the authorities. You need to run diagnostics on each return to ensure there are no errors before generating e-files. Additionally, it’s crucial to confirm that the returns are issue-free before submitting them to the authorities.

TOP handles all this with a click of button where you can sit and watch or can take care of other pending items. This saves a lot of time as running diagnostics and creating efiles is a very time-consuming effort on daily basis.

Create efiles

“Create efiles” is only available to Admins.

When clicked, this button will select all returns marked as “Restore Completed” under the “Status” column.
Diagnostics will be run on each of the selected returns.
A copy of each return is saved on the specified location in PDF format.
E-file is created for each of the returns.
The “Status” Colum is updated to efile Created for these returns.
